damage，hurt, harm, injure和wound区别

这组动词都含有“受伤”的意思，但各有区别。

①damage指毁坏、毁坏、损伤、侵害（生命、康健、兴奋或告捷的时机）等

The fire badly damaged the town Hall. 失火使市政厅遭到严峻毁坏。

emotionally damaged children 情感上受伤的孩子

②hurt（非正式）损伤、侵害。如：

Hard work never hurt anyone. 积极事情绝无坏处。

③Harm（通常指存心地）损伤，侵害，危害（人或生物），如：

Pollution can harm marine life. 沾染会危及大海生物。

④injure（指肢体）受伤，（尤指在事故中）

Three people were killed and five injured in the crash. 撞车事故中三人殒命，五人受伤。

⑤wound原意是“（刀、枪或其他兵器形成的）伤口、创伤”，也 [常用被动态]，表现（使或人，尤指皮肤决裂）受伤，挂彩。如：

a knife/gunshot wound刀伤/枪伤

The wound healed slowly. 伤口愈合得很慢。
