just 基本上是众所周知的单词，它可以作副词，也可以作形貌词，但更稀有的是用作副词，并且其用法丰厚，特别是在白话中。
一、just 译为“只是，仅仅是”，相当于 simply，比如：
It was just an ordinary day.
那只是普平凡通的一天。
I can't just drop all my commitments.
我允许要干的事可不克不及都不干了。
二、just 译为“真正地，的确，完全”，相当于 really，completely 或 absolutely，比如：
The food was just wonderful!

此时的 just 常与如今完成时或已往完成时连用，比如：

七、just 译为“合法…时”，常用搭配是 just as，比如：
