Teachers’ Day is a special day for the appreciation of teachers. The idea of celebrating Teachers' Day took root in many countries during the 19th century. Unlike many other International Days, countries celebrate this day on different dates. In China, this holiday falls on September 10th each year.
教师节是一个感谢恩师的特殊日子。许多国家在19世纪就萌生了庆祝教师节的想法。与其它国际节日不同，许多国家的教师节日期不尽相同。中国的教师节是每年的9月10日。
World Teachers' Day, also known as International Teachers’ Day, first launched by UNESCO in 1994, is celebrated annually on October 5th.
世界教师日，亦称国际教师日，由联合国教科文组织于1994年首次发起，每年的10月5日为世界教师日。
