advise、persuade和suggest用法剖析

1.advise和persuade都有‘给……出想法，劝告’的意思。

advise 是动词，劝告（告捷与否不确定，不重申）

persuade是动词 涵义= 劝告+告捷。

persuade sb. to do sth.意为“压服或人做了某事”,重申后果；而advise sb. to do sth.和try to persuade sb. to do sth.意为“劝或人做某事”,重申举措。不触及劝告的后果有没有告捷。

I advised(tried to persuade) him to stop smoking, but he would not listen to me.

我劝告他戒烟，但是他不听我的。

advise经典用法：

advise that 从句(假造语气)

Police are advising people to stay at home.

persuade没有假造语气用法：

persuaded sb to do sth=persuaded sb into doing和persuaded that从句，都表现“压服+告捷”的涵义；

try to persuade sb. to do sth和advise sb. to do sth..意为“劝或人做某事”,重申举措，不触及后果对否告捷劝告。

We persuaded her to confess her crime.

我们压服她坦率了她的恶行。

I failed in my attempt to persuade her.

我未能压服她。

2.suggest 及物动词 ， 发起它所表现的涵义是“发起大概发起”。

suggest+疑问词+to do

suggest that+sb. (should) do(含其他名词性从句都用假造语气)

suggest doing sth./ sth.

例句：

Did he suggest anything to the boss?

他给老板提发起了吗？

May I suggest a white wine with this dish, Sir?

教师，吃这道菜，我给您保举一种白葡萄酒，好吗？

I suggested going home. 我发起回家。

I suggested going in my car.

用名词作宾语，构成 suggest sth. for sb. to do, 表现发起某事让或人去做。
