Old friends are back again! More than 6,000 whooper swans arrived in Rongcheng, E China's Weihai to spend winter.

威海荣成是“中国大天鹅之乡”，亚洲大天鹅紧张的越冬栖息地之一，也是鸟类南迁北移的紧张转乘站，每年有上万只大天鹅从西伯利亚奔走风尘分开这里度过5个月的越冬之旅。

Rongcheng in East China's Weihai city is China's hometown of whooper swans, one of the most important wintering habitats for Asian whooper swans, and also an important transit station for birds migrating from south to north. Each year, thousands of whooper swans travel from Siberia and migrate in Rongcheng for their five-month winter journey.

克日，随着气温不休下降，威海荣成国度级大天鹅天然保护区又迎来了越来越多前来过冬的“老伙伴”——来自西伯利亚的大天鹅，现在天鹅湖中越冬天鹅总数以前凌驾6000多只。

Recently, as the temperature drops continuously, the National Whooper Swan Nature Reserve in Rongcheng city, Weihai city has received more and more "old friends" —whooper swans from Siberia coming for migration. At present, the total number of migrating swans in Swan Lake has exceeded 6,000.

在荣成市天鹅湖北岸，成群的大天鹅会萃在岸边，它们时而梳理羽毛，时而扇动翅膀，伸展斑斓身姿。

On the north bank of Swan Lake in Rongcheng city, groups of whooper swans gather on the shore, sometimes combing their feathers, sometimes flapping their wings and stretching their beautiful body.
