英语形貌词和副词重点难点精讲：far away, far away from和far from

1　far away 表现“阔别”，用作表语或状语，后方不成再加名词。

The factory is far away . 那家工场很远。

The school is not far away . 学校不远。

2　far away from 表现“离某地很远”，用作表语或状语，from 后必需加地点名词或here, there等。

He lives far away from the school. （正）他住得离学校很远 。

He lives far away school. （误）

He lives far away from . （误）

Is it far away ? 它离得很远吗 ？

Is it far away from here ? 它离这里很远吗 ？

提示

faraway意为“悠远的”，用作定语。

That is a faraway village. 那是一个悠远的乡村。

3　far from 表现“离某地远”，通常用作表语，from 后必需加地点名词或here, there等。

It is far from the school to her home. 从学校到她家很远。

The hill is far from the city. 那座山离这个都市很远。（相当于far away from）

4　距离+away 表现“在几多里或公里之外”。

The factory is 30 miles away . 那座工场在30英里外。

5　距离+(away) from+地点名词或here, there等 表现“离某地有多远”。

The school is two miles (away) from my home. 那所学校离我家2英里。

The city is about 200 kilometers (away) from here. 那座都市离这里约莫200公里。

6　距离+by train/by bus/by ship/by plane 表现“乘火车／乘汽车／乘船／乘飞机去某地有多远”。

Beijing is about 1,000 kilometers by train (from here). （从这里）乘火车去北京约莫1 000公里。

Hangzhou is about 300 kilometers by bus from Nanjing. 从南京乘汽车去杭州约莫300公里。

7　时间名词一切格+walk/ride 表现“步行／骑车／乘车要几多时间”。

The post office is about ten minutes' walk (from here). （从这里）步行去邮局约莫10分钟。

（从这里）乘车去扬州必要2个小时支配 。

Yangzhou is about two hours' ride (from here). （正）
